Defensive Sorcery

Heru is relatively good at defensive sorcery, barriers and traps are something he uses a good deal given the opportunity.

Several projectiles solidify in the air in front of Heru - these projectiles are a light gray in color with electricity sparking around them. They burst towards a target and deal damage with a 5% chance of paralyzing the target for 1 turn.

This skill allows Heru to attack his chosen target with a brief razor-edged whirl wind. The wind forms around the target and spins when successful.

Force ControlForce control is something that Heru has had to get reasonably good at due to his lack of a normal weapon. He tends to use raw force mostly defensively if he's going to use it at all. Heru has a good grasp on controlling his own force though, and it helps with his sorcery a great deal.

Moving very quickly with ease is a relatively useful skill to have for a Valhalir, for a multitude of reasons. He uses it in combat to avoid attacks occasionally, but mostly he uses it to get around easier than he might otherwise.

Marat Al'iilhiaUpon release the pen disappears and instead bracers appear on Heru's wrists. The bracers cover from wrist to elbow and appear to be the same gold as the nib of Marat Al'iilhia's sealed form. The designs from the handle are present on the bracers - this time inlaid in the gold with ivory. The Egyptian lotus design is set just at his wrist on both bracers.

This skill generates a barrier of air used to deflect projectile based attacks (thrown weapons, projectiles of energy, etc.) 10% chance of redirecting the attack at Heru's opponent for 50% of it's original damage instead of just harmlessly to one side.

Given the choice, Heru prefers to stay back in combat and attack from afar. This is something that his Daemon allows him to do, yes, but he's also got a good grasp of offensive sorcery to add some variation to the skills and types of attacks that he uses.

Unarmed CombatSure, he prefers fighting from afar, but everything knows that that's not always possible. As such Heru has trained with unarmed combat, and he's actually pretty good at it when he has to be.
