Wow it's weird to be typing 2018... anyway, we have a new theme with some fancy stuff, but some of it is still broken. Also the email field for guests appears again, I'll fix it eventually.

We now have a working version of an early write-up of Battle Suite 4.0 available for use. This system completely automates tabletop functions, and is very user-friendly.

Embers // Afterlife Fantasy

Welcome to the first day of your new life. Embers is an afterlife fantasy cyberpunk RPG, running since 2006, first under the name War Chain, and then under the name Tamashii no Chikai, originally as a Bleach RP. Some Bleach influence still remains, but it is all presented differently and features new elements. The recent 2016 reboot under the name Embers follows a very similar standard and focus that War Chain and Tamashii no Chikai did, and we hope Embers will grow into its own free of its fandom ties. Here's to 157,000 more posts!

She does not tend to play defensive, often rather opting to just beat the shit out of her opponents before they have the chance to return that damage. The best defence is a good offence, right?

Metella's force control is not anything to sneer at. She can actually change her appearance at will by altering her force composition, and allow unseeing to see her when she wants. She does have a very impressive amount of force, but it is tightly leashed.

Always doing something, it stands to reason Metella would also at least get close to mastering lightfoot. It makes life a little easier, and things go by faster - literally.
Noctis Gemma

Probably one of the most elaborate daemons in Valhalla, Noctis Gemma has actually been named the most beautiful daemon a few times. Noctis Gemma is a necklace, a very elaborate one, gold rolo style chain anchoring a fan-shaped mess of metal swirls. Each swirl has a different colour of gemstone within it. As she gains more release states, more gemstones and swirls appear in Noctis Gemma's sealed state.

A basic energy attack; this gathers in the blade, which glows a brilliant blue, and fires in an arc. It causes explosions when it hits. It has a chance of causing an accuracy lowering effect against what it hits.

The blade breaks apart into fragments and Metella disappears. These fragments float mid-air. Metella can appear in one of the fragments and fire Force from them; while the fragments can be destroyed, there are hundreds, and while Diamond Sky is active, Metella cannot be successfully targeted; you'll hit the fragment first.

For five turns, the opponent cannot sense anything, dropping their accuracy -10, and pain is nulled. Furthermore, all damage dealt to the opponent is nullified, dropping to 1 damage a hit. When that five turns ends, however, all the damage they should have taken hits at once, +50%.

Onyx vibrates, singing an eerie melody. The longer one remains in vicinity of Onyx after the vibrating ends, the more damage one takes, +5 every round, while their damage dealt drops, -5.

This generates a massive wall of fire. Anything that touches it is hit with a streak of Ruby Flames. After a few turns, it'll dissipate on its own, so it's more of a distraction, really.

While she doesn't pack a particularly nasty punch by herself, she does tend to combine her force control with her hits, making her hit even harder.
