New Year, New Theme!
January 5, 2018
Wow it's weird to be typing 2018... anyway, we have a new theme with some fancy stuff, but some of it is still broken. Also the email field for guests appears again, I'll fix it eventually.

We now have a working version of an early write-up of Battle Suite 4.0 available for use. This system completely automates tabletop functions, and is very user-friendly.

Embers // Afterlife Fantasy

Welcome to the first day of your new life. Embers is an afterlife fantasy cyberpunk RPG, running since 2006, first under the name War Chain, and then under the name Tamashii no Chikai, originally as a Bleach RP. Some Bleach influence still remains, but it is all presented differently and features new elements. The recent 2016 reboot under the name Embers follows a very similar standard and focus that War Chain and Tamashii no Chikai did, and we hope Embers will grow into its own free of its fandom ties. Here's to 157,000 more posts!
Mature themes, half the board is gay. Not recommended for bigots or individuals under 16 years of age. You must be 18 or older to gain access to the mature boards.

Steady, level-headed, and composed, Mameha has an air of sophistication that some can find intimidating. This quality is levelled out a good deal by her warm maternal streak. Mameha is gentle, but compassionate and patient, making her get along with almost anyone. Nothing ruffles her proverbial feathers, and even in the most extreme crises, she keeps her cool and if necessary, will take the reigns until the situation has resolved itself. Though occasionally deeply emotional, she is very skilled at figuring out when is a good time to show these emotions, and can masterfully set them aside and deal with the present situation until she can handle them safely. To some, she seems perhaps too detached, but she has never reached a dangerous level of emotional avoidance.

In her dealings with others, she is very observant, intuitive, and polite. It's an almost business-like handling of social situations, but her natural warmth and compassion still manages to temper the edges somewhat. Mameha never raises her voice, and while her wording may be a little bit of a jab, it is still polite and not harsh. She earns her respect through personal merit, instead of fear-mongering, making her fairly decent at managing groups of people and taking on leadership roles. While she is in a fairly high social position, and a relatively important position in the Goteijusantai, she doesn't seem to desire being important, nor have any real personal ambition. She does have them, of course, but they're more family-oriented goals than social influence oriented, and despite being quite content to lead, she's just as happy not leading.

Mameha is more of a listener than a talker, and many find her a decent person to vent to. She's good at advice, because she's empathetic enough to understand situations people are in, but she's still impartial and unbiased enough to offer outside advice that isn't marred by being invested in the outcome. She finds subtle, somewhat barely noticeable ways of making her friends and loved ones feel important and valued, but some can miss it due to the lack of obviousness. She doesn't talk about herself easily, but she's always willing to be a shoulder for someone else to lean on.

Friends
She's very reserved and keeps to herself. It's hard to imagine she has friends, but I'm sure she has one or two somewhere. Most Nibantai members completely stop making friends, or if they do, they're careful to keep those relationships superficial and as distant as possible, you know, just in case. Mameha does exactly the opposite. She forms very strong, lasting bonds with others, because in her mind, maybe she can make a difference, maybe she can't and she'll still end up fighting you someday -- but she's going to throw herself headlong into her friendships while they're there. Not doing so never stops the sting of betrayal later, anyway, so you may as well.

But don't mistake. She may love you, and she may love you a lot, but if you prove to be a problem, she will still end you. Perhaps, because she loves you, and considers you a personal responsibility, perhaps more because she just wants to make sure it's at least quick and as painless as she can make it. The point is, work is work. Life is life. And sometimes, work wins.

Enemies
I'm sure she has one or two, but they come and go. It's a normal thing for Nibantai, and by this point, Mameha has stopped worrying about it. Oh well.

Lovers
